Started his journey on June 6, 2026, at Sault Area Hospital surrounded by his family.
Loving father of Elianna Amanda Thibault-McDonald (mom Emma McDonald). Son of Bryan Thibault (Taylor) and Kelly-rae Vogl. Loving big brother of Brynn, Autumn, Hazel May and Ayejah-Lynn. Grandson of Eileen and Ron Thibault and Jennifer Vogl (Lionel). Great grandson of Eileen Thibault. DeShaun is now reunited with his great grandparents Mary Larose, Rod Thibault, Glenda Vogl and Richard Vogl. Special nephew of Ronny-Ann (cousins Mariah, Sarina, Trenton and Colton), Rod (Alyssa) Thibault (cousins Rodney, Tyson, Patrick, Garren and Alayna), Francis LaRose, John LaRose and Alicia Vogl (cousins Marlena and Jaxon).
DeShaun will be greatly missed by his many great aunties, great uncles, cousins, extended family and friends whose lives he touched.

Beginning at 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 14, 2026, we welcome all who knew and loved DeShaun to join us in remembering and honouring his life at the Garden River Community Centre (7 Shingwauk Street) until time of funeral service. Funeral service to take place on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Garden River Community Centre. DeShaun will be laid to rest at Garden River Catholic Cemetery following funeral service. All are welcome to join the family for a feast at the Garden River Community Centre following burial.
