Douglas Stacy Agawa Sr.

Forever missed by his life partner and best friend Dianne, his son Douglas Jr. (Kayla), and his grandchildren Abigail, Alice, Hunter, Annabelle, and Kellin. Dearest son of Agnes (the late Philip). Loving brother of Sam (Karen), Selina (Vincent), Derek (Brenda), Stephanie (John), Georgina (Barrington), and Jessica (Ray). Special brother-in-law to Ross Woolley and special cousin to Yogi Primeau. Cherished son-in-law of Mary (the late Gerald), and brother-in-law of Edward (the late Patricia), and Ronald. Douglas is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A heartfelt thank you to Tony Boniferro for his support and friendship. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm. Traditional services officiated by Willard Pine and Christina Agawa. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 3 pm. A potluck feast will be held at the Rankin Arena at 5 pm. Special thanks to the Fire Keepers and all the Traditional Men and Women who have helped Douglas and his family as he moved on to the Spirit World. The family would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital for the care they provided Douglas. In lieu of flowers, the family would like everyone to consider organ donation.
