Edward John Zeppa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Edward J. "Ed" Zeppa, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 as the result of a tragic accident.

Ed leaves behind his beloved wife, Elsie and is reunited with his first wife Dottie who predeceased him. He was the proud father of the late, Tom (Kim), Nancy (John), Marty (Lisa) and a devoted step-father to Sharon (Dan), Lori (Scott), Chris and the late Aaron.

Ed was a cherished grandfather to Jessica (Jordan), Kristen (Owen), Joshua and Nicole. Proud step grandfather to Hannah and Noah. He was especially devoted to his great grandchildren, Russell, Violet, Jack, Kori, Bodhi, Deegan, Teller (who lovingly knew him as "Beep Beep Papa") and Connor. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with them and watching them grow.

Ed was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Sophie Zeppa and by his youngest brother, Ron (Sue). He is survived by his brother, John (Lana). Known to everyone simply as "The Brothers".

Ed, John and Ron shared an extraordinary bond throughout their lives. They faithfully met every Sunday for breakfast and celebrated each of their birthdays together with family - a special tradition as Joseph and "The Brothers" were all born in March.

Family was at the heart of everything Ed did, he treasured many years spent camping, fishing, hunting and vacationing with his family, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, the late John Findlay (late Cathy), the late Ron Findlay (Karen), the late Don Findlay (Georgette) and Alice Cote (Guy). These gatherings created countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who shared them.

Ed and Elsie also opened their home to family and friends for their much anticipated annual Labour Day Weekend BBQs and Corn Roasts. These celebrations also became a treasured tradition filled with laughter, great food and the warmth of their hospitality.

Ed also leaves behind many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews and loyal friends who will forever remember his kindness, generosity and unwavering love for family.

As per Ed's wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of his life, will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions (made payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Ed's legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply, their traditions he created, and the countless lives he touched. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
