Erwin George Baker

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Erwin Baker at the age of 63.

Son of the late Ivan and Elora Baker. Dear brother of Laura Wiesel (John) of Chestermere AB, Ann Rains (Neil) of Saskatoon SK, the late Julia Denny (Ken) of Cambridge ON, Iva Jansen (late Neil) of Sault Ste Marie ON, Ivan Baker (Monique) of Cambridge ON, Christine Jansen (Perry) of Cambridge ON and Ken Baker (Cathy) of Cambridge ON. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caretakers at March of Dimes, as well as the ICU staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion.

As per Erwin's request, a funeral service will be held at the New Apostolic Church located at 135 Arden Street in Sault Ste. Marie, on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 6:00PM with Rev. Joshua Jansen officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the New Apostolic Church or the Ontario March of Dimes would be greatly appreciated by the family.
