It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Fernando in his 86th year with his daughters by his side.
Fernando was the loving husband to his late wife Shirley for 61 years. He leaves behind his five daughters; Suzanne Vezina (Larry), Pauline Brason (Tracy), Nancy MacColl (Andrew), Jennifer Jour and Karen Henley. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, his sister Elizabeth Malashewski (late Paul), sisters-in-law Diane Tassé (late Larry), Betty Ann Lacroix (late Cyril) and many nieces and nephews. Fernando is predeceased by his late parents Francis and Alma Jour, father and mother-in-law Carl and Melvina James, his late sister Marie Berthelot (late Louis) and sister-in-law Brenda Richards.
Fernando was an avid fisherman and enjoyed walking the hub trails. He was at his happiest spending time outside with nature. Fernando was a long time dedicated volunteer at A.R.C.H for 11 years. The family would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at A.R.C.H. for their compassion and exceptional care of our Dad.
