Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Loving mother of Christopher and Bartholomew. Cherished grandmother of Katie and Alex. Predeceased by her parents Privat and Marie Rouleau, her brothers Desire, Leo and Bella Cumming (late Scotty). Also survived by nieces and nephews.
At 105 years of age, our beloved mother leaves behind a lifetime filled with memories, love, and the many people who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was a woman who cherished the simple things in life. She loved her family deeply, treasured her friends, adored her cats, and found great joy in the beauty of flowers. Her home and her life were made richer by the people and little things she held close to her heart.
She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a dear friend. She was kind, caring, and generous with her love. Through the many seasons of her long life, she remained a good woman who gave so much of herself to those around her.
For 105 years, she witnessed a changing world and created countless memories along the way. Her life was not measured only in years, but in the love, she gave, the lives she touched, the friendships she made, and the family she built.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave us will remain forever. We will remember her in the flowers she loved, in the quiet moments that bring a smile, in the stories we share, and in the memories that will live on in our hearts.
Special thank you to her friends Carol Corbett, Bill Wozny, the Amin Bashir family, Jim and Martha Park, Vic and Judy Dusik, Janice and Lee Cumming and Roland and Edna Rouleau. Thank you to all the staff at the Sault Area Hospital that supported our mother, especially Doctor Hannah Roberts.
In respect of Flora's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Humane Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East; 705-759-2522). Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com.
Mom, thank you for 105 years of love, memories, and being you. You will be loved and remembered always.
Goodbye, Mom.
