Francis Edward Crawford

Frank has gone home to his parents Clarence and Rena Crawford and younger brother Jim. Frank leaves behind his beloved children Jennifer and Heather. Loving grandfather to Liam and Dane Irvine. Cherished brother to Pat Sandie and Alan (Mavis) Crawford. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Frank enjoyed his decades long career as a General Manager and Chartered Accountant for Canadian Tire. His journey began following graduation from University of Western Ontario and completion of his CA designation through Peat Marwick Thorne (later incorporated into KPMG). During those years, he was a proud member of the Kinsmen Club.

Outside of work, Frank was a very talented carpenter. Building desks, sheds and garages, he spent many hours with his hammer and saw. As a younger man, he enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors through camping and fishing. He was also an avid bowler.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital as well as Mike Kennedy for their care and compassion.

As per Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer Society or Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
