Frank was born in Sault Ste. Marie in 1957. He was a lifelong Algoma Steel employee. He married Pauline in 1980. They had Shannon two years later and Kelly Ann two years after that. He referred to them collectively as his “girls” and was the most steadfast family man his girls could have asked for. They will miss him forever.
Frank and Kelly’s husband Geoff were two peas in a pod. Finally, Frank had someone with whom to discuss obscure history and other niche topics that interested him very much and most other people not at all.
Frank was happiest playing golf, spending time at the camp in Neebish, leaving his coffee mugs everywhere, listening to Ozzy’s Boneyard on Sirius, and of course, cheering on his beloved Montreal Canadiens.
Frank is predeceased by his parents Earl and Suoma and his sister Roberta.
Frank’s siblings-in-law Sam, Jayne, Al and Janet were constant sources of comfort and help to him and Pauline during his illness.
Frank loved his nieces and nephews Desiree, Vincent, Tess, Geoffrey, Max, Miles, Lucy and Sam very much.
Frank’s family is grateful to his many friends who visited him during his time at the Sault Area Hospital and A.R.C.H. Those visits meant a lot to him.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Spadafora, Dr. Thangaroopan and the team at A.R.C.H. for caring for Frank.
