Gordon Leonard Dion

Son of the late Joseph and Lorna Dion. Brother of the late Don (Doreen) Dion.

Gordie spent many happy years married to Brenda (Harrison) who passed away in 2014. He was lucky enough to find love a second time with his loving partner, Bev Conway.

Proud father of Brad (Sharon) and Mark (Brenda). Adored Grandpa of Jess (Antonio) Borrelli, Mike (Christina) Dion, Nicole (Jeremy) Tiesma and Kori (Napoleon) Tousignant. Treasured Great Grandpa of the late Colton Borrelli, Briggs Tiesma, and Napoleon, Sebastian, Alexander and Dimitri Tousignant. Loved by Kerri, Kristi (Ryan), Brayden, Isabella and Amelia. Uncle of David, Darryl and the late Dale.

Gord worked at a variety of jobs over the years, many including a steering wheel—as a bus driver, driving for Linde Air and at the City Board of Works.

In his retirement years, you could almost always find Gord in his garage—fixing lawn mowers and snow blowers, polishing his many vehicles and chatting with friends. He enjoyed spending time with his A&W breakfast crew, his car show buddies and his neighbour, Noah.

Gord never met a stranger he didn’t like and he will be missed by many.
