Loved daughter of Frank and Pearl Bishop, beloved wife of the late Morris. Dear mother of Mary Beth (Bob) and David. Special grandma to Vanessa (Joel), Stephanie (Ali), Matthew (Tiana) and Steven. G.G. to Amelia, Liam, Theo, Delara, Lincoln and Abigail.
Joy is now reunited with her beloved cats Smokey, Cali and Rosie.
Joy was an avid reader making weekly trips to the library. She loved her Maple Leafs and Blue Jays and of course was a loyal Greyhound fan.
Grandma Joy was a wonderful baker with special mention of her butter tarts and blueberry pie.
She had many lifelong friends over the years whom she enjoyed socializing with, especially Connie, Rosemary and Grace.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff on Driftwood Beach (Second Floor) of the F.J. Davey Home.
As per Joy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) in Joy's memory may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the F.J. Davey Home.
