Ian Philip Sharpe

Ian was the loved father of Jason (Mikayla) and Tracey (Douglas). Proud Grandpa of Promise, Faith Johnny, late Asher, Dominic, Lexi, Annaliese and Jessica.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Ian is now reunited with his parents, Stan and Ruby, his siblings Lillian (Roger) Belair, Winn (George Fisher and Jim Walsh), Cathy Sharpe, Len (Brenda).

Remembered also by his sister Bertha, his brothers Ed (Michelle), Ken Wong (Carol), and the many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ian was a people person. He would talk the ear off of anyone who would listen about Hockey, his children as well as grandchildren. He worked at Algoma Steel his whole life as a senior steel roller as well as many other roles. He always loved attending Soo Greyhound games. All of his friends have many memories. All of his grandchildren have made him proud each day. He loved his kids and grandchildren very deeply.

Ian's children and family would like to thank the ICU Staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their time and dedication to his care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
