

She graduated college as a medical librarian and her first position was at Semmelweis Medical Science University in Budapest. She met her husband Dr.Sandor Jablanczy from Canada, who was doing his summer internship at the hospital .
Shortly after they married and settled in Canada. Dudi was able to adapt to her new life quickly as she already spoke five languages. She worked beside her medical doctor husband as administrator for 40 years, until their retirement in 2016. Although they planned to resettled in Hungary after retirement, plans changed after the untimely death of her husband.
Helen, (Dudi) is deeply grieved by her family; in Hungary: her brother Robert (Sylvie), his children Eniko, Csaba, their spouses and children; and in Canada: Edit, Miklos, Istvan (sister in law and brother in laws) their children and grandchildren. Also, friends in Canada and Hungary.
