Deepest condolences to all the Bell family.
Ione and I lived across the road from each other when we were growing up in Portlock. She was a bit older than I and I think she babysat me sometimes, but we always had lots of laughs.
When Ione and Laddie were married I had the pleasure of serving the wedding dinner which was held at her mother’s house, but I did not do the cooking. RIP my friend, I will always have fond memories of  you.

We are so saddened to hear about dear Iona, we will miss waving to her as we passed by as she sat in her window chair. Strawberry season won't be the same without picking those berries for her.  The smile on her face when we delivered them was so awesome.  We will think of her every time we pick them.  What a dear,  gentle neighbour!! your presence is missed! Rest in Peace sweet Ione!

So sorry to hear of Ione's passing.  Was always very friend and welcoming to me and my family. The Bell's and McClellands's were long time neighbours in Gordon Lake and shared many great memories. RIP Ione.
