Janice was the proud mother of Julia (Rob) and William (Tara). She was the cherished grandmother of Sierra, Terri, Gerri, Austin, Robbie, Cameron, Dayna, and Kayden, and great grandmother to Stellarose. She leaves behind the father of her children, Charlie.
Janice was predeceased by her parents, Laura and Sid. Her siblings, Lorne (late Marion), Roberta, Tim (Bonnie), and Tommy, and her great niece, Khrissy.
She leaves behind her siblings Rudy (Marlene), Frances (late Brad), Mary (late John), Charles (Kaz), Brenda (late Kevin), Terry, Bev (Leo), Wanda (Gary), Wendy (George), Audrey (Al), D’Arcy (Karin), Daryl (Karen), John (Morgan), and Michael (Alisha).
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Janice was a devoted Montreal Canadiens fan, holding out hope they would win the Stanley Cup, this year, and a lover of the Blue Jays.
She cared very much for her dart family and friends.
She enjoyed attending Bingo in Garden River and Batchewana Gaming, a love that grew from going regularly with her mother.
She will be missed for her kindness, laugh, humour, loud personality, and generosity; she was definitely the life of the party.
Her family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital staff and St. Michael’s Hospital staff for their kindness and care, as well as Oshawa Funeral Home for preparing her for her final journey home.
