Jim Robinson

Beloved husband of Mary Anne for 62 years. Cherished father of Owen (Debby), Mark (Michelle), and Paul (Melony). Proud grandpa of Emma (Jason), Adam, Ben (Yvonne), Jack, Whalen (Sarah), Max (Josh) and great-grandpa of Malcolm and Finnian. Predeceased by his parents, Richard "Dick" and Mary Robinson and in-laws, John and Peg Levy. Brother of the late Jack (Alma), late Sharon Muncaster (late Cary), late Bob (Patt), Diane LeBlanc (Lloyd), Susan McMaster (Bob), and the late Janet Ann Wilton (Gary). Brother-in-law of Jean Low (Bob), the late Ross Levy (Sandy), and Dave Levy (Kelly). Jim will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jim's active accomplishments were being a private pilot, Central Algoma Board of Education, Sault Area Public School Board, Founding member of Desbarats Mariners hockey team, project manager of the building of C.A.S.S. Jim was responsible for purchasing the property and over seeing the build and ensuing operations. He also stood on many committees including Dr.Trey Frye Centre, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 374, Harmony St. Mark's United Church building committee, and the Algoma District Health Council. He was also a volunteer for many years for the St. Joseph Island Lions Club.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East; 705-759-2522) on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Faye Stevens officiating. Friends are invited to view the service online anytime up to 90 days, go to www.funeraweb.tv and select James' name. Interment at Holy Trinity Jocelyn Cemetery.
