Daughter of Angela and the late Michael Neveau. Dear sister of Keith, Cynthia, late Pierre, Carol (John), Bonna (Scott) and Shane (Brandi). Special daughter-in-law of Robyn. Fondly missed and remembered by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Cherished friend of Colleen, Elaine.
Above all, Josie loved her family. Her sons, daughter-in-law and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She took great pride in being a mother and grandmother, and her love, support, and devotion will be remembered always.
Josie treasured the friendships she made, especially with the ladies from the Band Office. She enjoyed spending time camping, fishing, creating many happy memories and singing karaoke throughout the years.
She was an exceptional cook and baker. Her family and friends always looked forward to her homemade meals. Specialty dishes were her delicious perogies, cabbage rolls, apple pies and cheesecakes, which became family favourites.
Josie was incredibly talented and creative. She was an accomplished seamstress who lovingly made bridesmaid dresses, and she enjoyed many different crafts throughout her life. Whatever she created, she did with care, patience, and pride.
Beyond her many talents, Josie was known for her wisdom and kindness. She was someone people turned to for advice, and she was always willing to listen, offer guidance, and lend a helping hand. She will be remembered for her generosity, her smile, creativity, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her.
The family would like to thank family friends Sonja and Laura for their help and care. The family would also like to thank the staff at the F. J. Davey Home Apple Orchard 1 and Driftwood 2 for their care and compassion.
