May 22, 2014. I missed our Mother's outing. It saddened me. You were always the strong one, Mom. I am forever grateful for having such a terrific mother. My heart will mend, but my memories will always remain, Love, Lorna

Mothers Day was not the same this year.I missed you dearly,I know it will get better in time as the years past. You will always be with me mom. I love you. Bonnie.

Mom, I will miss all the wonderful years that . were shared with you. You always were there for us all when we had a problem, or just needed advice or comforting. I will miss the time we spent during your stay at the nursing home. You will always remain in my heart, and I will always be grateful for having you for the loving mother you were. Lorna

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

With tear filled eyes, and that doesn't happen very often, I'd like to express my sincerest sympathy to all of the Willet Family. It just feels like yesterday, that all of us kids (eleven of her own and about 20 of us neighborhood kids) were running around in and out of the house on Brule Road. Those were the days. Amazing memories and love are exploding in my mind. I miss and love you all. Please contact me when you have the gathering for your Mom, I want to be there.

To Bonnie and all the family, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. What a beautiful Lady, she had such a kind heart and had a great sense of humor. Her legacy is seen in all her wonderful children. I haven't met one of you that didn't have that Willet charm that we all love. She will be missed. I'm thinking of you at this sad time Bonnie, I love you. Love Penny

I wish to extend my condolences to Kay's family at this sad time.  I got to know Kay when my mother moved to Van Daele in 2009.  She will be missed, especially at the bingo's and any of the musical events that she enjoyed so much.

So  sorry for your loss.  I have fond memories of Kay's warm and friendly smiles.  She always was so welcoming. I remember her well, cooking in her kitchen, tending to her many children and smiling :-)  May your many fond memories of Kay comfort you all. Janet Callahan, St. Joseph Island, Ont.

Including Kay, I will always remember her with the greatest fondness.  She did have an amazing sense of humour and the biggest smiles.  What  a wonderful woman. To the Willet Family, we extend our sympathies at this time, even though we only met her once, we often thought of her over the years and how she raised so many children in the house we now call home.  At times I would feel overwhelmed with six kids in the house....but then I would think about Kay and feel encouraged because she raised 11 here!  She was an amazing lady!

Kay was one special lady with a big big heart, so caring and loving to other residents, she showed kindness to many residents, gave them big hugs and kisses, looked after those who needed TLC, she was witty and always said what was on her mind. I enjoyed her company and bringing her to the Legion bingo, she loved it so much, so much she won the jackpot one time! I'll never forget that day! You will be missed by many Kay. Love Nancy Powley
