Loving husband of Linda for 63 years. Cherished father of Deborah Hunter (Darwin), James Tarbox, Joseph Tarbox (Megan) and Peter Tarbox. Beloved Papa and Grumpa of Amanda Malone (Neil), Nicholas Hunter (Jennifer), Rebecca Beers (Cody), Mariah Tarbox (Dorian), Michaela Tarbox (Mac) and Elijah Tarbox (Alyssah). Special great-grandpa of Ryker, Levi, Joseph, Amelia, James, Maverick, Liam, Huxsyn, Harlyn, Kamryn, Nevaeh, Emily and James. Brother of Marilyn (late Glenn), late Janice (late Roy), late William (late Gloria), late Robert, Suzy (Mike), Paul (late Marilyn), Edward (Deborah), Geraldine (Richard), Barbara (late Paul) and Sonny (late Marilou). Brother-in-law of the late Armand (late Georgette), late William (late Claudia), late Philip (late Jane), late Alida (late Armand), late Eva (late John), late Jennette (late Fernand) and Simone. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends, especially his close friends Mike Semczyszyn and Dallas Semczyszyn, and his goddaughter Cheryl Lund.

Larry will be remembered for his green thumb, taking great pride in his garden and his lawn. He especially loved cutting his grass on his riding lawn mower. When he wasn't tending to his yard, you could often find him trying to sneak some treats; chocolate cake, donuts and peanut butter cookies being a few of his favourites. His grandkids were his pride and joy, and he especially loved sharing jokes, even if the laugh was at his own expense.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Elks Lodge in Echo Bay (96 Church St., Echo Bay) on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for an informal celebration. Please come to share memories and have a bite to eat in Larry's honour.
