Lavina Jane King

KING, Vina Jane – With peace and dignity, Vina passed away in the arms of her family on Friday, July 16, 2010 in her 90th year. She is now reunited with her devoted and loving husband Cedric (2006). She will be sadly missed and forever loved by her five children; Barry (Carol), Brenda Trainor (Wayne), Jane Thomas (Wilf), Roddy and Mary Lou Keyes (Pat). She will remain in the hearts of her ten grandchildren; Lisa, Danny and Darryl King, Rhonda Peters, Chris and Trevor Trainor, Mindy Cook, Marci Simonini and Michael and Ryan Keyes. Vina was a cherished and proud great grandmother of 25. She leaves behind her brother, Jack Trudeau, and her sisters and best friends, Hilda Bellerose, Frances Robertson and the late Muffy Fowler. She will also be deeply missed by her special and caring friend, Ulpu Heimonen. Vina will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends, for her unconditional love, and for her quiet giving ways. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 11 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
