Lisa is now reunited with her beloved parents Philip and Olive McCormick. Dear sister of Daniel Sayers Sr. (late Carol), Laura Robinson (Harry, who was like a brother to her), Darcey McCormick (Brenda), late Libby McCormick, late Daryle McCormick, and late baby girl McCormick. Cherished and loving grandma of Hailey "Boopster" Richards and Carter "Car Car" Richards. Long time companion of Mike Belair. She held a special place in her heart for Mike's son "little Mike" Chevrier. Sister-in-law of Barb Belair, Marjorie McDonald (Bryan), and Pam Mackan (Phil). Lisa was an awesome Auntie to Dan Jr, Trapper, Amy, Philip, Lindsay, Lisa, Mary Jane, Mallory, Sam and Darcey Jr. She will be fondly remembered by many aunties, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed by her best friend and "partner in crime" Rhonda Arlene LeSage.
Lisa was a devoted employee of Batchewana First Nation for 35 years. She touched many people's lives through her work for her community members. Her knowledge and sense of humour will be missed by her co-workers.
As per Lisa's wishes, a Private Family Service has been held and she will be laid to rest in Garden River Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522). Lisa was a strong believer in charitable causes; memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to ARCH, TAAG or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
