Passed away, peacefully, on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the age of 98.

Dearly beloved wife, and best friend of the late Paul. Devoted Mother of Daniel (late Lynda), Paul (Wanda), and Susan (Bill). Grandmother of Cara-Lee (Rob), Kristi (Andrew), Stephen (Dani), Sherry-Lynne (John), Darryl (Lifa), Cindy (Daniel), Shannon (Will), and Nick and Jen Hill. Great Grandmother of Brady, Lauryn, Nicholas, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Daylin, Danica, Devyn, Katelyn, Nathan, Colin, Gavin and Cody. Dear sister of the late Joseph, Sister-in-law Emma Jane and the late Margaret. Predeceased by Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Ann (late Fred), Fanny (late Aimee), James (late Florence), Joseph (late Helen), Leo (late Marie) and Gerald. Remembered by many dear nieces and nephews.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the wonderful, caring and compassionate staff of The Ontario Finnish Resthome, who provided exceptional care to our Mom over the past 16 years. They made her feel like this was truly her home. Many thanks also to the Doctors and Nurses at the Sault Area Hospital.

Friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522) on Wednesday June 10, 2026 from 1:00 pm until the time of service in the chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place the following day on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to meet at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel 271 Fourth Line East and line up in procession by 12:45 pm for a 1:00 pm interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Ontario Finnish Resthome, A.R.C.H., or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
