Luciano Borrelli

BORRELLI, Luciano – Peacefully passed away in his 92nd year at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer Site on Monday, July 4, 2011. Luciano was predeceased by his beloved wife Paolina and his parents Carmine and Maria Borrelli. He was the youngest of five brothers – late Giovanni (late Assunta), late Francesco (late Rosina), late Ippolito (late Agata), and the late Natale (late Clorinda). Brother-in-law of the late Giuseppe Bozzo (Maria), Ida Carobelli (Luigi), Eugenio Bozzo (Ada) and Michele Bozzo (Mara). Zio Luciano will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and we will miss his many stories of his adventures as a young immigrant to Canada in 1952. He was a quiet, loving man who enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. Zio Luciano died with a heavy heart because his beloved nipote Domenico Borrelli passed away two months before him. We would like to extend our gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at the Plummer Site who took special care of our uncle and also to the staff at the Finnish Resthome. Luciano will be at rest at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 9 am – 12 noon. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from St. Veronica’s Catholic Church at 1 pm. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
