Margaret Neil Ferguson

Loving wife of the late James. Beloved mother of the late Helen, Ewan (late Linda Evans), Margaret Broman (Eric), Elliot (Dierdre Chambers) and Andrew (Joy). Proud Grandma of Alex Ferguson, Jacob and Emily Broman, Katharine and Grace Ferguson. Great grandmother of Sidney Jane, Bane and Alice. Predeceased by her parents Matthew and Helen Elliott. Dear sister of the late William Elliott (Helen), late Taylor Elliott, Ronald Elliott (Shirley), Len Elliott (Marjorie) and Helen Elizabeth MacIver (Gordon). Margaret will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Great Britain.

Margaret was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland and immigrated to Canada with her young family in 1970. She resided in Sault Ste. Marie for the remainder of her life where she was active in Scottish culture, Westminster Church activities and loved the outdoors.

Special thanks to the caring staff of Cedar 2 at the Davey Home and Dr. Chung for the compassionate care our mother received, particularly during the past year.

Following Margaret’s wishes a graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations payable by cheque or online to the F.J. Davey Home Foundation or Westminster Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
