CAICCO, Maria – Passed away suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 27, 2011 in her 83rd year. Beloved daughter of the late Raffaele and Louisa Caicco. Dear sister of Alfred Caicco (Maria), Vincent Caicco (Franca), Santino Caicco (Emma) and predeceased by her sisters Anna Chiarello (late Salvatore), Elvira Bruni (late Luigi) and brother Eugenio (late Peppina). Loved and remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Maria touched the hearts of everyone that knew her. She was a wonderful independent women and her gentle heart, loving and giving nature will be missed. In keeping with Maria’s wishes, a private family service was held. Rev. Trevor Scarfone officiated. Entombment was at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the staff of We Care for all they have done for Maria for so many years. If desired, memorial contributions to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice or the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
