Marilyn Gail Constable

Gail will be remembered by her beloved Shadow, daughters, Tracey Wetzl (Tim), Pamela Jalak (Michael), and Sarah (Danny Galarneau); her eight grandchildren, Kendra (Gus), Jesse (Janine), Carly (Matt), Mitchell (Sasha), Andrew, Kieran, Edie, and Félix; her great-granddaughter, Lilah Jalak; and her sister, Bonnie Scali (Jimmy).

Mom was creative, meticulous, and always had an eye for the best of everything. She pursued her many interests wholeheartedly, cared about every detail, and had high standards she made no apologies for. The things she created and the memories she captured over the years remain a lasting gift to us.

Mom and dad’s home in Batchewana Bay was the centre of their universe, filled with artistic creations, incredible food, wine, and tranquility. It was where family and friends gathered, shared meals, and found a place to relax and feel at home. Mom loved that place deeply and never stopped missing it after she left.

We are especially grateful to Aunt Carol for the care and support she gave Mom and all of us throughout these difficult past few years. We also thank Paul and Marg, whose visits brought Mom so much joy and whose friendship meant so much to our family.

At Mom’s request, there will be no service. Instead, try something new, explore a creative passion, bake a delicious dessert, or cook a wonderful meal to share with family and friends. Put your heart into it, pay attention to the details, and take pride in seeing others enjoy what you’ve created.
