Marlene Gail Brunet

Loving wife of Robert Brunet of 62 years. Cherished mother of Michael (Jocelyn) and Nancy Riggs (Brian). Adored Gramma B of Brandon and Jaiden (Braydon). Great-grandma of Natalie. Sister of Karen (Harold), and Brian (Donna). Predeceased by her sisters Linda (late Ralph) and Jean (late Billy). Special Aunt to Bernadette and late Elizabeth. Good friend of Paula Halpin. Marlene will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Marlene was a member of the Lioness Club for many years. She is known as Gramma B to many close family friends. She loved to talk and have conversations with everyone. Her constant smile was always there to light up the room. Marlene and Robert enjoyed travelling and spent time making many memories over the years.

Family and Friends are welcome to the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:00 am for a Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation (payable by cheque or online) to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA) or Alzheimer’s Society can be made in Marlene’s memory.
