It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew Mooney at the age of 62.
He is son of the late Barry and Trudy. Loving father of Brooke, the late Cody and Jessie. Cherished brother of Cathy, Maureen, Nancy, Tammy, Melissa and the late Mark. Grandpa of Lakelynn and Bayler. Special friend of Paulette. Uncle and great uncle to many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He would be fondly remembered for his cheeky and sarcastic personality. He was an avid Redwings fan, and enjoyed having a beer with friends or family while watching the game.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Staff and Doctors at the Sault Area hospital for your care and compassion.
As per Matthew's request a Celebration of Life will take place in his honour at a later date. In lieu flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
