Mitchell was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces and thoroughly enjoyed his later work, operating heavy equipment. His love for fishing, hunting and the outdoors was deeply rooted from an early age. He found Tranquillity anytime he was on in or around water. Family was very important to Mitch. He was our devoted, "Turkey carver." Mitch had a unique and special relationship with each of his nephews that will always be remembered.
