Rita Margaret Wyatt

Rita peacefully joined our Dad and the family members who went before her.

Mom was the true matriarch and pillar of our family, always providing unconditional strength and love. She was a wonderful cook who showed her love through food, bringing family together around countless homemade meals. Christmas was her favourite time of year, and she made it magical for her children and grandchildren, filling the season with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Loving Mom of Tracey (Ryan) Richards, Steven Wyatt, and Lesley (Brad) Ferguson. She was also a devoted and active Nana who never missed an opportunity to cheer on her grandchildren, celebrate their accomplishments, or create special memories with them. Among these were riding roller coasters, racing down water slides, playing Barbies, and building sandcastles. She embraced the role of Nana with all of her being.

Special Nana to Kyle (Jennifer) Wyatt, Noah Richards (Gemma), Keegan Wyatt, Leah Ferguson (Aiden), Jonah Richards, Cody Ferguson, and Mackenzie Wyatt. Fur Mama to Bindi. Loving sister of Judy (Wayne) Mackay, the late Linda (Bill) Hocken, the late Joseph Pauzé, and Dorothy Lauzon. Adored by many nieces and nephews.

Her lifelong friends will treasure the countless memories they made together from evenings around the campfire, and tropical vacations to the simple joy of sharing a cup of coffee and conversation.

After missing our Dad deeply these past four months, we find comfort in knowing that they are together once again.

As family was most important to Mom, a private supper will be held where stories, laughter, and cherished memories will be shared in her honour.
