Bob, along with his wife Jackie, build their one and only home on Ransome Drive, where he resided right up until his recent illness. Bob devoted 42 years to his career at Algoma Steel, where he worked as an operator in the slab cast. When he wasn't working, Bob would most often be found enjoying the camp he built at Havilland Bay in the summers with many relatives, or at his hunt camp in the fall with his extended family. One of his greatest passions was music. From the time he was 18, he played guitar. In his later years, he enjoyed entertaining many friends around the campfire in Batchewana. Bob proudly formed his first band at 85, "The Senior Entertainers", where they would perform for many nursing and retirement homes. His favourite hobbies included gardening and spending time at the casino.
Special thank you to Dr J, Dr Yi, and the nurses on 3C for their outstanding care and compassion in our dad's final days.
