BILLINGSLEY, Roger Marvin - Feb. 24, 1938 - Sept. 9, 2018. Born in South Porcupine. Beloved partner in life of Diane (nee Young) for 51 years. Son of the late Reginald and late Mary (nee Shea) Billingsley of Bracebridge. Brother of the late Douglas Billingsley (late Vicky) of Inuvik, NWT, Dolores Williams and very special cousin of Carolyn Smith (Morley) of Utterson, ON. Caring father of the late Dale, Steven, Mark, late Roseanne, Scot (Stephanie). Proud grandfather of Josh (Marion), Ashley (David), Alex, Carianne (James), Samantha (Sheldon), Stevie (Meghan), Elijah, Nathan (Jamie), Roy, Ava, Daxton and Flynn and great grandfather of 14. Son-in-law of the late Roy and late Olive Young. Brother-in-law of Randy Young (Pat). Father-in-law of Marianne Reynolds and Laurie Laudadio. Special uncle of Johnson (Barb), Martha (John), Cathy (Doug), Debbie (Todd), Jim (Priscilla) and Jason (Nancy). Roger was the owner of Goulais River Welding for 45 years and original inventor of the rebuilding of fifth wheel pins on transport trailers which was then copied by an employee. He was a member of the Goldwing Riders and loved his bike. A graveside service will be held at Goulais River Cemetery (Pine Shore Rd) on Saturday September 15, 2018 at 11 am.
