Samuel MacKenzie Pringle

Beloved husband of 71 years to Mildred (nee Donaldson). Loving father of Susan, Philip, Carol Bird-Thompson and the late Bruce. Dear grandfather of Joshua (Brianne), Chantelle Farelli, Carly, Jordan, Alayna Horton (Darren), Jeremy Beaumier (Agnes) and Amber. Great grandfather of Mikayla, Lucas, Raya, Ellie and Theo. Predeceased by his brothers, Grover, Spencer, Frank, Orville, and sisters, Edna and Gloria. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Sam will now be reunited with his best friend and business partner Reg Martin. The family would like to express their gratitude to Len for the devoted friendship, support, and time on the course.

Many will remember Sam as a well-respected realtor, developer and honorary member of the Home Builders Association. His commitment to his profession, saw him Chair the Ontario Real Estate Association, the Canadian Real Estate Association and the Sault Ste. Marie Real Estate Board.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, between 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:00 am with Pastor Brad Mittleholtz, officiating. Sam will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to Alzheimer Society, Operation Smile, or the Zion Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated.
