Sharon Lea Hamilton

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Sharon at the age of 80.

She was daughter of the late Calvin and Virginia Carter. Loving wife of Nick for over 61 years. Proud mother of Duane, Kevin (Maria) and Jody. Cherished grandma of Erin, the late Clancy, Nicholas, Jessie, Jake, Kaelan, Katie and Colin. Great grandmother of Lily, Eli and Ember. Predeceased by her brother Dennis. Survived by her siblings Carol (late Robert) and Jim (Norma). Lovingly remembered by her in-laws John, Skip (Kate), Martin (Kim) and Michael (Nicole). Predeceased by her sister-in-law Jane.

She will be fondly remembered by taking care of everybody. She was famous for her pies, and baking of all kinds. In her spare time, she loved to be in the garden or on the beach cleaning up.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at A.R.C.H. for their exceptional care and compassion. A special thank you also to Dr. Fabrarro and Dr. Booth for their excellent care of Sharon.

Family and friends are invited to Mount Pleasant Cemetery (Gordon Lake Rd.) on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at Gordon Lake Hall (1800 Gordon Lake Rd.). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to A.R.C.H. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
