Sylvia Denise Read

Beloved sister of Brian (Ruth) and Kevin (Theresa). Loving aunt of Rachel, Melissa, Darby, Dylan and Colton. She is now reunited with her parents, Dennis and Alma (nee Jones) cat friends who she loved so much, Toby, Tucker, Frankie and Jackie. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

Some of Denise's passions of life were Clogging and Singing. Some of her favourite memories were when she was brought up on stage at many concerts and got to sing with various bands and musicians when asked. When she wasn't working as a medical secretary and later a transcriptionist with more than 40 years of service at the hospital, she enjoyed going on trips with the Sunshine Club and spending time at the old homestead on St. Joseph Island. She was a proud member of the Red Hats Club. She will be remembered for her bright and contagious smile and her outgoing character.

As per Denise's request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Memorial contributions made payable online or by cheque to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
