Tim Pasternak

Beloved husband of 53 years to Marilyn. Loving father of Mark Pasternak and Susan Pasternak. Proud grandfather of Mikhaela, Belle and Kade. Son of the late Albert and Catherine Pasternak. Dear brother of Joe Pasternak (Kathy) of Sault Ste. Marie and Greg Pasternak (Ann Marie) of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Son-in-law of the late Bill and Mildred MacLeod. Brother-in-law of Ross MacLeod (late Kaye) (Shirley) of Goderich, Ontario and Wally MacLeod (Marg) of St. Thomas, Ontario. Tim will be missed by his nieces and nephews and by his special friends Ed and Anita Calhoun. Tim was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia and attended Sydney Academy and St. F.X. College. After school he married Marilyn in 1966 and moved to Toronto and eventually moved to the Soo in 1968 where he worked at Algoma Steel for 33 years at Emergency Services. Tim retired in 2003 and spent many years in Florida for some of the winter months. Thank you Dr. M. Rassouli and Dr. Spreafico at Princess Margaret for the amazing care during Tim's 8 year journey. A private memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522). Rev. Pat Woods officiating.
