It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wanda Jane Celetti surrounded by the love of her family.
Daughter of the late Charles and Millicent Donaghue, Wanda will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Mario Celetti, with whom she shared 68 beautiful years of marriage, love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Together they built a life centered on family, strength, and enduring love.
Wanda was a woman known for her infectious smile, warm heart, and lively spirit. She was never afraid to have a good time with a glass of wine and brought joy wherever she went. Her laughter and presence could light up a room, and the memories she created with family and friends will be cherished forever.
Her Sunday pasta dinners will be dearly missed, as will her homemade raviolis during the holidays. The entire family would gather in that small kitchen on Chambers Avenue, where the home was always filled with laughter, conversation, and the unmistakable feeling of togetherness that Wanda created so effortlessly.
She leaves behind her loving children: Rocco Celetti (late Susie), Lee Ann Archibald (late Rick) Tim Celetti (Shannon), Chris Celetti (Jill), and Clint Celetti (Patrice). Wanda was a proud and loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life. She is survived by her siblings, Rebecca McGoldrick (Joe), Dwight Donaghue (Judy), and Herb Fuller (Lynn). Wanda was predeceased by her siblings Dale Donaghue (Betty), Russel Donaghue (Frances), Beatrice Hamor (John), Leona Erickson (Hilding), and the late Ada Isobel.
Wanda’s legacy of love, laughter, resilience, and devotion to family will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
Special thanks to the ICU and Emergency Room doctors and Nurses at SAH for their special treatment and care. Dr. Difabio, Dr. Senecal, Dr. Lafrance, Dr. Beduhn, Dr. Ladak, Dr. Bondar and Nurses Melissa, Mackenna, Alannah and Shannon.
