She was born in Savannah, GA. and was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked at Levy’s Department Store for eighteen years and also Belk’s of Savannah.
She is survived by one son, John Sykes; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday 10:00 am at Laurel Grove Cemetery.
