

He was born in Fulton County, and was preceded in death by his father, Hoyt Lee Smith, and a stepson, William Brandon O’Quinn. He was a veteran, having served in the US Air Force.
He was a member of the Wildwood United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Celtic Royal Arch Chapter No. 106, F. & A.M’s, in St. George’s, Bermuda where he received the Royal Arch Degree of Free Masonry, a member of the York Rite Consistory, and the Clown Unit of Alee Shrine Temple.
He was an avid Bull Dog Club Member, at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. He was a member of the Savannah Quarterback Club.
He was a member of the Business Advisory Council, where he served as an Honorary State Chairman for the State of Georgia. He was honored for his business and professional success, the leadership that he has provided in this community. He served on the Coastal Georgia Walk to Emmaus # 84.
He was a Builder and Developer, with his Company, Transworld Investment Company.
He is survived by his mother, Stella Watson Smith, of Savannah, Ga; son, Charles Watson Smith, Jr., (Kako) of Hinesville, Ga; and a daughter, Patricia Gale Aiken, of Savannah, Ga; fiancé, Linda H. Soliman, of Savannah, Ga; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Clay Loadman, Sr., Pastor of Wildwood United Methodist Church, officiating.
Entombment: Hillcrest West Mausoleum.
