

Paul Alexander Perkins, 34, of Savannah, died October 5, 2011 in Hilo, Hawaii.He was preceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Barney and Jerene Perkins. He was born and raised in Jesup, where he attended Local Schools in the Wayne County School System. He was a pipefitter, working with Local Union #188. He was a veteran having served in the US Army. He was a Volunteer Firefighter, with Southside Fire Department. He was a member of the Reenactment Group, of the Georgia Artillery Revolutionary War, he was a communicant of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Brown Perkins, his son, Preston Perkins, both of Savannah, Ga; a daughter, Peighton Perkins of Jesup, Ga; mother and stepfather, Billy and Cathy Glover of Jesup, Ga; father, Preston A. Perkins, of Florida; brother, Jeremiah Perkins of Jesup, Ga; two sisters, Wendy Floyd of Savannah, Ga and Jennifer Floyd Milton of Jesup, Ga; maternal grandparents, Eddie and Caroline Banker of Savannah, Ga; half sister, Pammy Perkins of Florida, three stepsisters, Shannon and Pam Glover of Millen, Ga; and Amber Glover of Augusta, Ga.
