Ronald Edwin Clark Sr.

He was born in Savannah, Ga., on July 11, 1939 to Albert Clark and Lillie Tilton Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Albert T. Clark, Sr., and brother in law, Barron Goodman.

He was a member of the 165th Airlift Wing at the Georgia Air National Guard and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

He was president and co-owner of Clark and Sons, Inc., until his retirement in 2003.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Paula Fields Clark; son, Ronald E. Clark, Jr. (Cindy); daughter, Melissa Clark Campbell (Shane); two grandsons, Chandler Clark and Seth Campbell; one granddaughter, Caylin Campbell; sister, Joan C. Byrd Goodman; sister in law, Virginia R. Clark; brother in law, Jimmy Fields (Sandra) of Ellabell, Ga; sister in law, Fran Deal (Steve) of Swainsboro, Ga; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Ga 31406.

A private burial will take place on Monday, June 2, 2014 with the Rev. Chris Barberi, officiating.
