

Veronica Lotson-Parrish was born in Savannah, GA on June 11, 1947 to the late Edward & Lula Mae Lotson. She attended Catholic Schools throughout her childhood. She was a graduate of St. Pius class of 1965. She attended and graduated from Savannah Technical College’s LPN Program. Her greatest accomplishment was graduating (in cum laude status) from the Associates Degree program at Armstrong State University. She worked as a nurse for 42 years at several nursing facilities, but her passion was working at Candler and Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Lotson. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberley Lotson-Bright and Kizzy Johnson, both of Savannah; her son, Keith E. Lotson of Savannah. She leaves nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five brothers, and three sisters, Al Lotson, Edward Lotson (Francin), Michael Lotson (Angela), Melvin Lotson (Frank), Vernon Lotson, Mable Stewart (George), Elenor Canty, Patricia Williams (James William); and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice Savannah and The Light Ministry.
