Aldo Brienza

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of the beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend Aldo Brienza. Aldo was born in Monteleone di Puglia on June 7, 1938, to Angelo Brienza and Concetta Del Vaglia. He immigrated to Canada in 1958 and spent many years as a barber and, later, as a school caretaker. All who knew him appreciated his humour, kindness, and calm demeanour. He will be sorely missed by all who experienced the light of his vibrant energy and life. He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Assunta, his children Connie (Randy) and Angelo (Yvonne), and grandson, Gabriel. Words cannot express the great feeling of loss. However, the family hopes that all will remember his smile and laugh as well as the many good times that he gave to those around him. With great sadness we miss him but with great joy we celebrate his simple yet remarkable life that has touched so many as well as his great sense of humor. We await the time when we can reunite with our husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend. We pray that God will guide his soul to His heavenly house. Visitation will be held at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON. The visitation times are scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at St Lawrence Martyr Church, 2210 Lawrence Ave E, Toronto, ON on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane.
