It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alistair Gordon on November 15, 2025, in his 83rd year. Alistair passed peacefully at home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Janet (nee Stewart), father to Jennifer (Jeff) and Iain (Dana). Survived by his sister Jean (Alec), uncle to Anne (Gordon), Susan (Bruce), great uncle to Alex and Ella, and uncle to Shona all in Scotland.
Alistair was born in Dundee Scotland and met Janet there before she moved to Canada in 1963. Alistair had also been planning to emigrate there, which he did the following year, and they both made Toronto their home. He was an avid golfer and curler. He loved his job at Hub Equipment where he often worked in northern Ontario, until his retirement in 2005.
