Annetta Barbara Marlok

MARLOK, Annetta Barbara Peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025 with family by her side at Cedarvale Lodge Long Term Care in Keswick. Annetta was born on October 19, 1938 and raised in Toronto. She lived in Belleville for several years and during retirement enjoyed living at the cottage on Lake Simcoe in Georgina. Dear daughter of the late John and Anne Heber. Predeceased by her husband Joe of 61 years. Dear mother of Glen (Dyanne) and Anita (Bernie) Kaefer, loving Grandma to Saffara (Greg) Lavalle, Jordan (Olivia) Kaefer, Carling (Jenny) Marlok and Miranda Marlok. Annetta spent 30 years working for the Canadian National Railway (CNR) in multiple roles such as accounting, payroll and human resources. While living in Belleville, Annetta and Joe enjoyed bowling and square dancing. She helped Joe teach 8- to 10-year-olds how to square dance on Friday nights for a number of years. Together, they enjoyed participating in the Belleville Santa Claus parade as part of the planning committee. Many joyful memories were created while wintering in Cape Canaveral, Florida and sharing her love of Florida with her children and grandchildren

Visitation will be held at PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough (between Pharmacy and Warden) ON., Tel. 416-751-7890 on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 10 to 12 followed by a memorial service at 12. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Annetta’s memory to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
