Annie was the beloved wife of the late George McPherson and was predeceased by her son, Keith (Becky). She will be deeply missed by her children, Kelly, Rob (Pat), Val (Annabelle), and Sheila; her 10 grandchildren; and her 7 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sibling Mary (late Eddie) and many nieces and nephews, preceded
in death by her remaining siblings, Micheal (late Grace), Jessie (late Raymond) and Ollie (late Arnold).
Annie was a remarkable woman who lived life on her own terms. Strongly independent, capable, and always
ready to lend a hand, she had a generous spirit and a caring heart.
Annie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved to read, take long walks, and spend time with friends and
family. For many years, she was a valued member of the St. Mark’s Quilting Group, where she enjoyed the
companionship and creativity of the group.
Although we are saddened by her passing, we are grateful for the 97 years of memories, love, laughter, and
lessons she gave us. Annie’s legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those
who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, John Knox Room. Family and friends are warmly invited to join together to remember and celebrate Annie’s long and meaningful
life.
