FRANGOS, Athanasios (Tamis) – Passed away peacefully, after a brief battle with cancer, on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the age of 84. Born February 10, 1939 in Kastoria, Greece and immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1965. Athanasios, beloved husband of Helen. Loving father of Electra and her husband Jim, Chris and his wife Alexandra. Pappou will be lovingly remembered by Athan, Eleni and Dimitri. Dear brother of Konstantinos and his wife Evdoxia, Andreas and his wife Vasiliki, and the late Hariklia and her late husband Evangelos. Athanasios, will be sadly missed by all of his family members and many friends.
Visitation at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario, M1R 2Y8 on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 5 – 8 PM. Funeral Service on Friday May 5, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M1R 2S3. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.
