I met Bridget when Kayla was 2 yrs old at her birthday party, and many occasions after that at Pat's home. When Bridget became ill,  Pat & Joy asked me to care for her for a period of time at their  home an we became good friends over the years. She would share many stories of Ireland and family  over onion sandwiches, which was one of her favorites that I grew to enjoy. We would go in the yard and people watch as well as share many laughs .A bond and friendship was formed with Birdget and myself. When she moved to the nursing home I continuned to visit a few times and would take her to the garden on the grounds which she liked, as well as  mini Irish concerts.Bridget was a very genuine an caring person ,she'll be fondly missed . May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. Love Jean and family . 

From the the time our families moved onto Quantrell Trail we became friends.  Breda was always kind, had a welcoming smile and offered sage advice.  She is now with Jim.  Rest In Peace Breda.

Breda is my godmother.  I have never doubted for one minute that she loved me to bits. And instinctively I have always loved her. She had a heart as big as the mountain.

I visited her about six years ago in the residence. I was wearing a shabby pair of boat shoes. She looked up and down at them a number of times disapprovingly and eventually said to me “ are those shoes this season or last?“ So Breda. Loved it and her. 

Auntie Breda was the glue of our family. I have fond memories of visiting her and my cousins in Scarborough on weekends and special occasions. She was always a motherly figure with lots of great advice, support, and care for her family. She always made me feel special  whenever I visited. She kept all the family connected and watched over all of us. She will be deeply missed. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all  the family.

Ma, I know from this day forward you are walking with God.  I am so glad that you were woven into the fabric of our lives.  You will be forever remembered and missed…

Aunt Breda opened her doors for a whole summer in 1987 to me . Her warm welcome and generosity was legendary.  Coming from Dublin as a young teenager, Toronto seemed very daunting but exciting.  Breda was my 2 Nd Mother , like she was to so many  souls.   My Mother would send  me for tea and cigarettes when Breda phoned  as they would chat for hours or days !    I am very grateful to you Auntie.  You literally thought me to read a book. My sincere condolences and sympathy  to all the McTeagues at this time .  Pat , George , Marjorie and John.  
Breda is in Paradise now.   God bless her always 

You  have accurately described Mrs. Mcteague. She was a very lovely person in every way. I had the pleasure of being friends with the family through her son George. The McTeagues are a very special family no doubt because they had special parents.

Thanks for always welcoming me and the rest of the gang into your home.

She was a " go to " Mother for all her younger brothers ......
