

Colin Cox passed away peacefully at Trilogy Long Term Care on Thursday, September 30th, 2021 at the age of 83. Survived by his Wife Elsa (nee Azevedo) and his siblings Eric, Roy, Ann, and Vera. Predeceased by his parents Hilda May and Edward J. Cox and sibling Brian Cox.
He joined the Army at the age of 18. He served in the Alamein Platoon Regimental depot the 22nd Cheshire Regiment 58th Intake in England and British Guyana. A member of Local Union 46 Toronto for 55 years. Colin will be remembered as a loving Uncle to all his nieces, great nieces and nephews, great nephews in Canada and the U.K. Due to the COVID guidelines guests are still required to follow the mandate of two metres (six feet) physical distancing. 50 people will be permitted in the room at a time. Guests may be required to wait in line prior to entering the funeral home. Upon entry to the funeral home guests will be required to provide their contact information for the purpose of contact tracing. Masks or face coverings are required indoors. A visitation for Colin will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 6:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M at the Paul O'Connor Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday October 7, 2021 at Christ The King Cemetery located at 7770 Steeles Avenue East, Markham, Ontario, L6B 1A8.
