We were very sad to learn of Gord’s passing and send our heartfelt condolences to the family. We met Gord and his Mum on the Scottish cruises and before dinner most nights I would see Gord at the gym and we would always have a nice chat.  We also enjoyed all the social events  we had with them. 
It is far too early to be saying goodbye to Gord as it was his time to enjoy retirement. 
Know that we are thinking about the family as you mourn your great loss.

Gord im still in shock I'll miss you brother. so many good memories. almost every good memory i have since i was a kid you were there with me . you saved my life once and I'll never forget that. i'm glad you came up a couple weeks ago and we sat and talked about all the good times we had growing up I'll miss you brother. i guess the list is cleared now (just a good inside joke and the people that know him would know about the list is. glad i wasn't on it) say hi to carl for me. it will never be the same with out you

Gord Ford,
He was one of a kind, a true friend, a loving uncle and loved talking about his family get togethers. Gord and I kept in touch after I moved to Kelowna BC.  One of my  best friends since we were kids. So many memories and I’ve been cherishing them all for the last week. From hide  and seek days to May two four weekends in Cayuga as young adults and everything in between, you made it large, you made it fun, but most of all ,…you made it worth remembering.
Thank you for always being there, to talk, to help and support. I could have never completed a few projects at my house without your assistance, and I’m sure there are many the friends who could say the same.

I was so sorry to hear about Gord's passing.  Our condolences go out to his entire family.  I met Gord at a breakfast place 3 weeks ago and gave him a big hug.  He was still the same Gord we grew up with.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Though it has been years since Gord and I last spent time together, the memories we shared remain vivid and cherished. Gord was one of those rare souls who left a lasting impact on everyone he met. In our younger days, he was always there — ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or make sure I got home safe after those nights out with the boys. His kindness, loyalty, and warmth never went unnoticed, and I’m grateful to have known a friend like him. Gord’s spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to cross his path.

I grew up across the street from Gord/Gordie and am the same age. It was a great neighbourhood full of similarly aged kids and we all spent many long hours outside playing old games like hide’n seek. All of our parents (including Gord’s) used to get together for parties in each other’s basements in the 70’s. My parents went to Lynda and Ian’s wedding. It’s sad to hear about Gord’s early passing. So many losses in the past five years. R.I.P. Gord.
