Gordon Hamlet Spooner

Passed away in harmony at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa on Saturday, 11th of February, 2023 at the age of 76. Following an extensive courageous battle with cancer. Gordon was a beloved husband to Lyn (nee Croal) of 50 years celebrating their devotions of life, partying, traveling and endearing relationships. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his six remaining siblings, sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law and his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many close friends. A visitation will be held at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home 1939 Lawrence Ave. E in Scarborough on the 24th of February, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parrish at 3 Combermere Drive, Scarborough on the 25th of February at 10am. Interment Pine Hills Cemetery 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1. In Lieu of flowers we would appreciate donations in Gordon’s name to the Lakeridge Cancer Centre in Oshawa.
